Christmas Break 2023

We would like to inform everybody that the last lesson for 2023 will be on Thursday 21 December at Kelsey Kerridge. The first session for 2024 will be on Tuesday 2 January at Kelsey Kerridge. There will be no lesson between the above dates. CARISMA and its instructors wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all members and their loved ones, looking forward to seeing you all back for a fantastic beginning of 2024. CARISMA Cup – Friendly Fight 2023

CARISMA is announcing a friendly fight open to all members of CARISMA, ARUKBC and CUKBS, to be held in CAMBRIDGE at the North Cambridge Sports Centre on 27 November 2023, starting at 6:30PM sharp.

This is the ideal chance for total beginners their skills in a totally safe and informal setting.

Each fight will be pre-matched, taking into account gender, weight and experience, following the Wako international  weight categories and Kickboxing Light Continuous rules.  Each fighter will take part in a 3 rounds bout fight in the ring (beginners 1 minute, intermediate 1.5 minutes and advanced 2 minutes).

The fights will be strictly light contact to ensure everybody’s safety and enjoyment.  We’ll apply the same rules and regulations as per our Town Vs Gown fights. Please read careful all rules and regulations also in terms of kit and uniform required.

Beginners Course November 2023

If you are total beginner the last CARISMA beginners course started on Tuesday 21 November 2023 at 5:45pm to run for 4 consecutive Tuesday and Thursday classes (e.g. 21, 23, 28, and 30 November).

Please note: it's no longer possible to sign up for this beginners course. Please wait until we publish the announcement for the next one.

According to our philosophy martial arts take time to be learnt to a minimum level of proficiency; it makes sense for you to join the beginners course just if you are available to attend it until its end, with the intention of joining our club after the beginners course ends and train with us for the months to come.
