Wing Chun Seminar, 24 January 2004

CARISMA organised a Wing Chun Seminar at the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Hall, Cambridge. The WCS is an open training event aimed at all levels of students.

Wing Chun is a traditional Chinese martial art based on simple and very effective techniques and it's one of the best styles for short distance fighting: the knowledge of the Wing Chun philosophy and of some its techniques is a great help for the practice of any other martial art.

For this very special occasion we had as a guest of honour Sifu (Master) Alan Gibson, founder of the Wing Chun Federation and author of various books of the "Why Wing Chun Works" series.

The training included the in depth study of basic positions and drills, essential to understand the concepts behind Wing Chun.
Front Row (L to R)
David, Vicky, Melvin, James, Raheela, Tracey. Rear Row: Alan, Malcolm, Mark, Arek, Duncan, Guy and Massimo
